Re: The Pancho Film Thread 2015...
Watched "Solace" last night on DVD and thought it was very good, if a little short. Where some movies go on too long I thought this interesting plot could have been stretched out a bit. Good performances from Anthony Hopkins and Colin Farrell and well worth a watch.

Wooders - That's what I heard, which is why I haven' bothered with it yet, but just want to tick it off for some reason, plus as you say Depp is meant to be very good in it.

I thought Black Mass was pretty ordinary, although Depp is very good in it.

Sold - How do you get watching a load of films, watching a load of sport, taking the hound out, going out with MATES, vets football, presumably spending time with family, all into a weekend??

I've got Black Mass to watch, and Creed, amongst others. The Visit is meant to be decent.

also, concussion, spotlight, the big short, the danish girl and i even found the intern to be quite amusing in places, as was the night before. all should be on showbox/wookie.

Watched Black Mass at the weekend.... ol' Whitey Bulger was a bit of a boy wasn't he... makes our ESSEX BOYS and KRAYS etc etc look like Andy Pandy...

Deadpool is not on Showbox yet so going to have to wait for that one.

Are any of these worth watching?

Revenant
Hateful Eight
Martian
Bridge of Spies

Deadpool is fucking superb.

Pisses all over every superhero movie since Dark Knight/Iron Man.

Immense.

Yep, Deadpool is superb. I'm not a fan of comic book films in general, but Deadpool is an exception.

Watched `MAX' over the weekend... all about a army detection dog that loses it handler in Afghanistan and how his family took the dog on... it's a bit `Skippy' in places but enjoyable all the same ... the hound is a superb actor...give him an Oscar!!

Also watched True Story (Jonah Hill and James Franco)... great thriller

Is Kill your Friends any good?

Read the book which was superb.

Same as the book with slightly less violent sex.

Re: The Pancho Film Thread 2015...
I thought Ant Man was so average, but I'm not the biggest Marvel fan. Prefer the DC movies.

Watched "Ronaldo" last night if you can class that as a film. Thought it was a great watch, love or hate him it was really good to see the other side of his life.

Also had some great footballing moments that were beautifully captured.
